dr_tectonicI went to the Conference on World Affairs today and saw a bunch of cool talks. I want to do them justice, so I won't say more than that until I have time, but I was very happy I went. Neat ideas. As a special bonus, I also got to see a friend from grad school!

zalena came over this evening and we socialized and watched Shaun of the Dead, which my brother gave us a copy of for Christmas.
P.S.: I have a new icon, which is from a postage stamp. It is pretty! I haven't yet decided what flavor of posts to use it for, but it's good to have more variety in the non-photo icons, because sometimes (I've discovered) I want to use an icon that doesn't have a facial expression on it.
