I bought acquired plane tickets today to go to Boston for a wedding in just under a month. (Yay credit card reward points!)

I just looked at the RSVP list (the bride and groom have a wedding wiki) and counted a full 40 people who'll be there that I'm now beginning to get all excited to see.

Glee!

I'm psyched that I'll see you--and everyone else--too!

Last month was pretty terrific, too. Really, spring is the only time of year I'd ever consider going there.

I've always been partial to fall in Boston. But I love fall. And it's the only season that we didn't get at all in California (winter I could get by going to Tahoe in case you were wondering).

By virtue of having no trees, Boston does not really have fall.

[This bit of exaggeration has been brought to you by dan.]

[But really, having lived in forested places for most of my life, it's true. With a car, you can get to places with amazing falls from Boston very easily. In the city itself, it's not so interesting.]
