flying critters

On the subject of flying things, you should be aware of the existence of mususabi, the Japanese flying squirrel, also known as momonga. Noteworthy because of its deadly cuteness.
Nature rawks.

Date: 2006-09-07 08:01 pm (UTC)I once had a great conversation about evolution of flying behaviour in squirrels, but it didn't include "and, did you know they're amazingly cute"? Hmm.
So cute!
Date: 2006-09-07 08:39 pm (UTC)There is a scary squirrel in my neighborhood that always comes out and CHASES me when I'm working in the yard. Once he ran up the stairs and blocked the entrance to my house.
Someone's probably been feeding it. Unnatural behavior for a squirrel.

he wants to say something.
