Happy Thanksgiving!

We stayed home and had a low-key celebration this year. Greg made enchiladas and spanish rice, I made green bean casserole, and Jerry made Japanese winter temple soup. Now we're watching Steamboy. It's been a good day; hope yours was, too!

I think this is the least thankful US Thanksgiving I've had since we emigrated. D. is in NY, I had a politics-filled, and mildly uncomfortable, meeting, and I had to teach at (@)#%* 8:30 AM.

I'n very glad yours was more thankful. You didn't make one of those terrifying canned green beans / cream of mushroom soup / french-fried onion casseroles, did you?

That is, in fact, exactly what I made. Comfort food. =)

I also made a dessert of Jell-O and Cool Whip! :D

Given my use of the word "terrifying", you can imagine how comforting I find that particular dish...

*sigh*

Incidentally, I do like that photo of you a lot more than the nega-beemer photo.

Ah, but did you make anything involving pork sausage and imitation cheese product?

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving back at you.

Apropos of a note from d. in my journal yesterday that he thinks you might have a thing for the Mythbusters guys, I just ran across this "bloopers" reel with Adam's bare-naked butt here:

They are cute!
