For a good chunk of the day, I felt like my brain wasn't really in gear. Then I took a long walk past the municipal airport, looking at parked gliders and a helicopter that kept coming in for a landing then taking off again, and when I got back I was able to (fingers crossed) finish in a couple hours the project that I thought was going to take all week.

It's hard to explain how you can accomplish more by spending the bulk of your time getting into the right frame of mind to code really well for one good stretch than you can by just trying to slog away at it all day long, but there it is. Fortunately, I have an office with a door and a boss who is too busy to hover, so I don't have to explain.

The crabapple trees around the building are covered with buds that are getting ready to burst open. I saw the first handful of open flowers as I was walking to lunch.

If any or all of the 3 bears (or extended Denver Familee) would like to go, we still have the membership to the Botanic Gardens and are always happy to bring people along (up to 4 people besides ourselves). Please feel free to give us a call.

This is a Very True Meme.

Perlick would be proud of you.

In fact, he probably will be when you tell him about it.

Do that now.

After all, he's the guy.
