My Boyfriend Is Going To Japan

Just got back from the gym. Going to go buy an electronic picture frame and go out to dinner once we get showered.

Spent much of Friday cleaning up for the bon voyage open house yesterday, which was a smashing success. We had... *counts* a full two dozen adult guests, plus seven kidlets come and hang out and visit and wish Monkey a good trip and (most importantly) eat all the food we had set out. We even got some of the homebodies to come! It was really lovely and made Jerry feel much appreciated.

Today has been just low-key us-time at home. We're taking turns having little moments of emo oh-em-gee-he's-really-going, or emo-ments as we call them. But things are good. I'm really excited that he's going. I just wish he could come back on the weekends...
