Coming back from lunch, I did the little passcard-dance where you lift up one leg and pivot, so your employee ID (which I keep in my left front pocket) gets close enough to the card reader to register and open the door, and I slammed my knee right into the door frame doing it. Now my knee hurts. Wah!

heh. I always think of it as wall-marking... as in the dog leg-lifting behavior... but I like this too.

I'm wondering if I should feel somehow like I've missed out on yet another of the foundational experiences of late 20th century life...it's been 10 years since I had an ID badge, and I've never had a swipeless one.
