In various forms, I got quite a few sincere and unexpected compliments this week. Not just "I like your poster", but people making time to visit with me, or seeking my advice, or asking me if I wanted to take part in something, or telling me that the code I wrote years ago is a pleasure to work with.
My feet and calves still hurt, but I'm feeling really good right now.
Back home tomorrow.
