dr_tectonicSo we're not in Japan right now, but things are back on kilter, I think. Silver lining: now that we're going in January, we have time to get Robb a passport and take him with us.
Didn't have much Christmas, though we did visit with the Nevilles (and Wumpf and Bryree & Marty) on Christmas evening. And then Saturday I went to![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
zalena's open house, and on Sunday we went up to John & Elizabeth's. So that was all pretty good consolation. Much philosophical-type conversation was had, which is always enjoyable.
I have been reading quite a lot of fiction, mostly Bujold. Well, and a hefty pile of fanfic.
House-buying is weird. A couple hundred bucks is a lot when it comes out of my pocket, but ten times that is a negligible amount to add to the mortgage.
