The larder was completely bare, so Greg and I went shopping today. We got buns at Pacific Ocean Market for lunch. They didn't have any regular BBQ bbq pork buns, but they had steamed ones and they were quite good. Unfortunately, I also got a pineapple-coconut bun, which was tasty, but I'm pretty sure I crashed my blood sugar hard, because after, at the regular grocery store, I started feeling really crappy and low energy.

This evening, I made green curry with chicken, green peppers, and bamboo shoots, and it was very tasty. And I managed to get the amount of heat in the spice just right! Lucky, I guess.

I am hungry. It sounds awfully good. I should think about going to a Thai buffet near campus on Monday or go to grocery shopping tomorrow and try making green curry myself. :)

Where is Pacific Ocean Market?

Safeway has some frozen BBQ pork buns that will do in a pinch.

(I can't believe I just said that, but it's true.)

Thanks! I wonder what other things Broomfield is holding out on me.
