I present for your consideration: Tales of Future Past.

http://www.davidszondy.com/future/futurepast.htm

Awesome images of how people used to think the future would be. With snarky commentary (sometimes annoying, usually amusing).

Go! See how things used to have been going to be!

And streamable OTR! (Old Time Radio) I am a huge OTR fan, there used to be tons of free stuff on the web, now it's more often pay-per-peep.

I love retrofuturism. But I feel the website could use a tweak. It's kind of a retrofuturist website.

BTW - my brother has an interesting collection of electronic music records from the 60s. He used to drive us nuts by playing them over and over again.

Have you ever read David R. Toop's Ocean's of Sound? It's a really interesting book about the development of ambient/electronic music. Of course, it might be really silly now that electronica has retreated from mainstream radio play along with rave culture. But I think it might interest you. It comes with a CD. Would you like to borrow it?

Hear, Hear! We don't need another hero, we just need KFM!

Who else would defend us from the lobster/monkey/insects of Mercury?
