Jerry had the day off from work today (jury duty, which was cancelled), so I got to take my car in for its 40k standard maintenance.
40k is the big expensive one, so I'm now going to repeat my little chant until I actually believe it.

Date: 2006-07-25 01:53 am (UTC)When (not if) your "skid plate" falls off your vehicle (after it's out of warranty), you might be tempted to just go without. Don't. It's a bad idea. But don't let the mechanic or the dealership talk you into a $600.00 plastic replacement. Call me. We'll get you the $300.00 actual honest to god metal armored replacement.
