It snowed plenty last night, so I decided to just stay home and telecommute today. The snow let up around 11, sez Greg, and when I went out to brush off my car this afternoon it was more like sliding the slush off than brushing the snow. And it's supposed to be in the 50s tomorrow and mid-60s on Saturday, so it's going to all melt off pretty quick and be wet instead of cold. But it was nice to stay home. And I even managed to get stuff done. Monkey stayed home, too, and Greg got home a little after noon.

Bryree came over after kung fu and he and I played some Justice League Heroes tonight (same as we did last night, or maybe it was Tuesday). Jerry and Greg have beat the game and are now playing through on "vengeance mode", which means playing on Easy with powerful characters. It's fun.

Hmmm... that's about all I've got today.

When I got to my car as darkness set in, I was impressed to find that I had about a square foot of snow on my whole car, despite the fact that it looked like it was snowing or overcast most of the day. Yay Colorado!

Slush, beautiful slush!

It was 80 degrees and sunny here in Oakland yesterday.

Pardon the intrusion into yer LJ, but have you ever do any online gaming?

Not really. We have a pretty good crowd for gaming around here, so usually the limiting factor is time, not people.

Plus, I've never been much for gaming (or chatting or whatever) with random strangers online. So many of 'em are obnoxious 13-year-olds, y'know? It's one of the reasons I stopped going to gaming cons -- I'm spoiled by gaming with my friends...

We have a bit of a good gaming community around here as well. Our problem is the opportunity to get together due to responsibilities that keep us at home. Namely kids for some of us and work for another. I was fortunate in that a good friend of mine locally introduced me to a friend of his that plays the game City Of Heroes with a group of other folks that are all over the country (and world, just about) and are adult seasoned gamers. The thing that really hooked me with these folks is that we are also doing the Voice Chat type thing together while we play. So we have a great game and a monstrous (read great) conference call at the same time. This is the only real game of this nature I play, but I thoroughly enjoy the experience. Still a big table top player, just dont get to indulge it like I could before.

...sigh...
