I have been cranky off and on for no particular reason the last couple days.

Now I have a reason: I was spraying some household cleaner around and some got on my shirt. The major ingredient in this stuff turns out to be bleach, and now my shirt (which I liked) is kinda ruined.

Suck.

I saw a tiny bunny no bigger than my fist while taking out the recycling, but I am still cranky. Somebody suggest something that will restore my natural good humor and faith in the universe!

Somewhere, in some way-too-upscale-for-the-likes-of-you-and-me clothing store in some neighborhood so swank I don't even know its name, someone is selling a shirt that looks exactly like yours, bleach-stain and all, for $217.89.

That... actually... helped. A lot.
Thanks!

Monkeys are cute. Flying monkeys doubly so.

[livejournal.com profile] kung_fu_monkey refuses to fly for me, but he is still super-cute. Yay!

I'll work on my flying after my finger heals, okay?

Now wait just a minute!

Whoa, dude. If a tiny bunny won't do it, I'm not sure anything will.

Well, I saw the bunny a couple hours before discovering the bleach on the shirt. If I saw another one, it might help, but it was unable to prevent the crankies.

ah. That makes sense then. Tiny Bunnies are not very propholactic against the crankies. They are much better after the fact.

Try this:

There are bunnies on the path near my house all the time, you can come over and see them any time you want. There are also geese, a heron, pelicans, lots of songbirds (mostly redwing blackbird & meadowlark), mud swallows, at least one beaver and the occasional fox.

Oh yes, and bald eagles fly over with live fish in their talons.

It's not precisely cute, but it can be refreshing.

And here is a nice link that Rob Brezsny shared today:

Share it with assorted and sundry household bears and monkeys.

LJ's phone post auto-transcriber is some amazing stuff.

I don't believe it's transcription by computer. I believe it's transcription by Indian. If you look at the webpage for the company involved, there is very little evidence of actual R+D work, but lots of suits.

....That would explain a lot, actually.

I phoneposted my horrific experience being gangraped by Suzanne Somers and five Oompa Loompas and the transcription never showed up.

Information yearns to be freeclosed captioned for the hearing impaired!

Hah! No shit! I thought it might have been a machine translator that spelled things phonetically when it couldn't get a solid match...

I'm going to start posting disjointed rants on outsourcing and New York City cab drivers and see if any get transcribed.

I have a shirt. It's a plaid of orange, yellow, green, and white. It has a bleach stain on the left front. I wear it anyway. Peopel think the stain's a feature, which never ceases to amaze me.

I'm going to try bleaching it more. Maybe it will look fashionable. I'll be a trend-setter!

Thanks, Pete. *counter-hug*

I'm going to try using the same spray to bleach out the lower third or so where the stains are, because it might look interesting, but if it doesn't work out I will for sure take you up on your offer. Thanks!
