Attention Movie Night folks!

So, we just realized that Chris Floyd's big birthday barbecue is happening Sunday and we forgot that it was already on the calendar when we planned Movie Night.

Jerry claims that I'm in charge for this month, so the options I'm considering are:

1) Have Movie Night, skip dinner (since we'll have eaten already), & start later, around 8.
2) Skip it for this week and reschedule Barbarella for next Sunday.

Opinions? Weigh in! Let me know!

I will find email addresses & phone numbers & let folks know for sure what the plan is once we decide.

I'm free and willing to go with the larger consensus.

If you decide not to do movie night, all movie night regulars are welcome at my birthday BBQ! Beemer can give you my contact info for directions.

I vote for a road (and boat or plane) trip to make up for the oversight!

While I've not been enough of a movie night attendee to contribute too much to this discussion, June is incredibly *packed.* Post-poning a week would put you on Father's Day. I think there's something on the schedule for just about every weekend day this month, not to mention many of the weeknights. Me, I'd probably let inertia keep me at the Floyd's, but, I'm lazy that way.

I'll second what zalena said. Since I've already missed the last two nights (now I'll have to play catch up and rent the ones that were seen), I'll go with whatever is decided.

Nope, you just missed one. It was Stanley Donen's 1967 Bedazzled. British comedy about the nature of good and evil. Silly, and perhaps overlong, but a much needed departure for our noir-style b&w classics.

You were definitely missed at the last one. I hope you had a great vacation!

Oh good, only one to rent. I had a wonderful vacation, so much so that I didn't even open a book the entire time (which is highly unusual for me).

Yeah, I often measure my resilience by how much I'm reading. I've been doing a lot less reading since I left my job. (And more movie watching.)

I look forward to hearing all about your vacation the next time I see you!
