I need an icon for talking about coding and other suchlike things. What should it look like?

For that matter, I'm curious to know: I have particular associations for different icons on my account, some of which are probably kind of obscure. What patterns of icon usage have you noticed? What do you think they mean? Any you're dying to know about? What else do I need an icon for besides coding?

I find programming language icons work well. You could have a camel. Or a block of fiendishly clever code in 10000 pixels. Panel 3 might make a good icon.

I've only really figured out the 'emotion' ones, and possibly the Haus one. I know that the rat stamp relates to your Chinese horoscope (I'm a metal rat, you're wood). But I haven't noticed a pattern for the radioactive panda icon or a few others.

You may notice that I have plethora of icons myself, and I still need a few more, I feel. (One NSFW on the list). My computer related ones are the directory listing (I'm old school) and the sattelite dish for 'links' and communication.

As for others, your birth family and the TAMC are the only repeating subjects I don't really see an icon for.

Mostly I use the rat icon when I'm feeling contrarian or giving someone a hard time or something like that. When I'm being kind of a rat in one way or another, in other words. It also gets used if the conversation touches on animals.

Radioactive panda... how to explain it... mostly I use that when I'm seeing the world through glowing radioactive-green-colored welding goggles, rather than through my normal rose-colored glasses.

The picture from Radium is the one I generally use for birth family (if I'm using a particular icon). I was working on a TAMC icon. I should finish it.
