Oh, yeah, the other reason to vote against Bush (and that means for Kerry, since we have a two-party system) is because Bush & Co. are deeply anti-science. I found a decent summary on the website of some professional skeptics.

Yeah, well. They're just members of the reality-based community, who think observing the world is necessary for us to operate effectively in it. I'm told that's not how the world works any more... instead, we take action, and physical law changes to gratify our whims.

Sweet! As soon as I can get some time off work, I'm going to take an FTL trip so we can start revising relativity.

Ooo, or would it be better to start out with time travel? Then I could take the trip TODAY but still wait until I have the time off to leave.
