I am updating from the Joneses' basement, where [livejournal.com profile] kung_fu_monkey, [livejournal.com profile] bryree, Nick, Jen, and I are playing DDR for fun and exercise. Mostly because I can.

The crazy people (Jerry and Jen) are currently attempting Paranoia Max, which is one of the obnoxiously high-tempo no-beat songs of ludicrous difficulty. Me, I'm typing on the computer because I am smart. Smart, and lazy.

Soon, however, we will go back to the normal songs and I shall dance once again.

W00t!

The difference between DDR zombies and regular zombies is that DDR zombies will dance toward you, effectively making it easier for you to escape. That and all you have to do it turn off the music or draw up/down/left/right arrows and we will be compelled to respond.

Good point! I feel so much better now. Okay, I need to clear out some of the MREs I stocked for Y2K to make room for the 22 rolls of arrow stickers I just got from Staples. Want some?

Sadly, I will probably be one of the dancing zombies you will have to deal with, so those arrows won't do me a bit of good.

Yes, but dancing zombies have to eat! Mmmm. Beef and chili. From a good vintage.

Hang on a second. When you talk about dancing zombies, are you talking about the "funk of forty thousand years" type of dancing zombies? I thought we'd finally escaped the eighties....

Listened to the news lately? The eighties are forever.
