k, our friend metalana has a huge purple sofa thing, that's designed quite a bit like a round above-the-ground pool, only it's a bed, with bolsters surrounding the sleeping-surface. It is apparently great for cuddle-piles, though the house also has king beds in at least two rooms. I don't know where she got it, but if you like, I could ask if it (at least) has a manufacturer tag for following-up. :)
