Spent the last two days meeting (VERY productively) with some guys from Texas about possibly making a version of the Hurricane Landfall game customized for Galveston. So that was pretty cool. Went out to dinner with them and my boss at the Dushanbe Teahouse on Wednesday.

Memo to myself: if you've never heard of a particular region's cuisine, there's probably a reason. I had the Tajik Plov (plov being, I think, a variety of rice) and it was... well, not bad, but certainly not something I'd order again. The teahouse usually has very good food, so I blame the dish and not the kitchen.

I've had really mixed experiences with the teahouse. I think it depends on who's working. Their gingerbread is great, providing it isn't stale, and the chai is great, but super sweet!
