Sean Combs, formerly known as "Puffy", then "Puff Daddy", then "P. Diddy", now just wants to be known as "Diddy", because he felt the P. was getting in the way -- it was "too impersonal".

This is not the kind of news that I normally pay attention to, but it made me wonder: is there something about celebrity that makes people crazy?

Or is it just that crazy people make better celebrities?

On the plus side, I was glad to see Mr. T on Conan O'Brien twice this week.
