Last night, we watched a bunch of episodes of Dead Like Me. It's a good show.

I'm becoming more and more convinced that broadcast TV (even cable) is becoming the preview channel for "what shall I watch on DVD next season"?

Understand your heading east for a conference. Be safe, good luck, and find a little time to enjoy yourself.

Thanks! I've got most of the day Wednesday to bum around and sight-see.

It's true and what sucks is even then you don't get a complete story arc. Dead Like Me is almost as frustrating as Frirefly on DVD for moi.

Have fun in D.C.!

Love that show! Halfway through second season now (I fully blame that show for my B on my last test).

Actually, movies are pretty much large advertisments for DVDs themselves. The cost to market a movie, create prints, and distribute it is barely covered by the Box Office receipts. The money the studio makes is on the DVDs.
