ow, my brain
Nov. 19th, 2005 09:24 pmSo, we just watched The Happiness of the Katakuris. This is a Japanese film that
ng_nighthawk found on his TiVo and wanted us to come watch a while ago, and we never did because we are lame-butts, but Jerry and Greg rented it today.
Oh. Em. Gee.
I don't know what to say about this movie. It's about a family and their little guest-house. It starts out kind of ping-ponging between cheerful and creepy, and then it just rockets off into BIZARRE AND SURREAL.
No budget for stunts and fx? CLAYMATION!
Probably the only Japanese movie to feature both song-and-dance numbers and the undead. In the same scene!
I laughed a lot. Now my brain hurts. You should watch this movie.
