In Which I Do Not Read Something

dr_tectonicWading through my inbox this morning, I found a long, long thread on a mailing list I'm on titled "government craziness".
And I thought, you know what? That's just going to make me ill-tempered and crazy if I read it.
I checked a couple replies from people whose positions I can rely on to not make me batty, just to be sure that the discussion hadn't veered off into interesting-tangent land, and when I verified that it had not, I deleted the whole damn thread, completely unread.
And I'm feeling pretty decent tonight. So I think that was the right choice.
