There was a plumber with a blowtorch in the entryway this morning, so I guess the heat is for-really fixed now. There was snow on the ground, and I was momentarily taken aback until I remembered: oh, right -- it's February. Still winter. Hi, winter! (It's been warm enough that having the heat turned off for the last couple days was no big deal.)

Hung out with Floyds and Nevilles this evening, just talking, which was nice. Not a thing that happens often enough, lately. Karen had a rude and prying survey question, for which I got to be a "no useful answer" data point. I mention it mostly to give her a hard time. =)

P.S.: Karen-- you want I should put up a poll for you?

Okay, so, I'm feeling a tad jealous of your hanging out time.

Maybe not so much because of the survey question ;)

I think, after the show's done, I'm going to start putting my "dinners with Kate" plan/idea into motion, so I can see people again. And cook. And such.

Excellent! Honestly, I was hoping to discover whether that was true or not...

when? did I mistake it for a normal question?

Apparently we have reached the point in our friendship wherein there are no rude and prying questions. Whilest this makes me exceedingly happy on some level, it also worries me that you no longer identify such questions as rude and prying.

Maybe I've reached the point where my twig and berries are just another part of my body, kind of like my hands.

Or maybe I have no standards. You could be right.

I'm not sure who a good neutral opinion on this would be.

why worry? it's only me who will be embarassed when asking inappropriate things.

Sure. I suppose it will allow me to reach a whole other set of data points. And, frankly, the question seems to amuse people way more than it should.
