dr_tectonicThere was a plumber with a blowtorch in the entryway this morning, so I guess the heat is for-really fixed now. There was snow on the ground, and I was momentarily taken aback until I remembered: oh, right -- it's February. Still winter. Hi, winter! (It's been warm enough that having the heat turned off for the last couple days was no big deal.)
Hung out with Floyds and Nevilles this evening, just talking, which was nice. Not a thing that happens often enough, lately. Karen had a rude and prying survey question, for which I got to be a "no useful answer" data point. I mention it mostly to give her a hard time. =)

I think, after the show's done, I'm going to start putting my "dinners with Kate" plan/idea into motion, so I can see people again. And cook. And such.
